I think all pumps are good but the recoilsare hard and kicks like a mule.you better have her shoot one first before you buy one for her. That's what I did, I borrow all my friends guns, pumps and autos,and took them to the range and have her shoot it,that way for sureshe'll know which one she wants.At first my wife and I was thinking about getting her a 20 gaugepump but at the end we ended up with an (auto) remington 11-8712 gauge.
