A SPORTS SHOP WHERE I BUY AMMO HAS A SPECIAL ON 338 250 GRAIN WOODLEIGH WELCORE SOFT POINTS. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THESE IN SOFT POINTS, ARE THEY A GOOD CHOICE FOR MY HUNT (BEING A SOFT-POINT WILL THEY HOLD UP ON MOOSE/BEAR)----ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED
I PUT THIS POST ON BIG GAME (NOT SURE IF IT BELONGED THERE)------LOOKING FOR MORE OPINIONS HERE
THANK YOU

I have heard of the Woodleigh bullets, but I'm afraid I have no first hand experience with them.I believe the are more popular overseas and seem to have a reputation for being a very tough bullet for large or dangerous game.If they group well in your rifle,I see no reason not to use them.Sorry I couldn't give you more info. but maybe someone else has used them......good luck!

Same here. I have read nothing but good reports on them but I have never used them either. Most of what I have read concerns thier use on Big Heavy Dangerous animals with good succuess.

These are as good as any of the premium bullets, if your gun shoots them with the accuracy you require. I'd buy a couple of boxes and see how they shoot.
Keep yore powder dry!!
