Default Winchester model 70

I found this rifle at wall mart for $250.00. It has a blued barrel, synthetic stock and a scope already mounted. Chambered in 30-06. Does anyone think i got a good deal ?

Bargains don't get any better than that, grab it! The scope is surely junk though, so ditch it for a better one ASAP!

What are you doing wasting time here? Go get that rifle before someone else does.

That package usually sells for about $400 - $450 I think.

Last spring I was in the market for a new turkey gun...a Browning Gold 10ga. NWTF. I searched everywhere and priced all places I could think of. Then for some reason I looked at the Walmart website and low-and-behold found that I could order the gun and have it delivered to the local Walmart. The transaction went off without a hitch. The amazing thing is that I bought it significantly cheaper than any place else. The sporting goods manager told me that from time to time the local gun dealer comes in when he is out of stock or when they have a sale on a particulargun and buys inventory for his store. I have heard there is not a large markup on guns. Just a little FYI for you all while on the topic.
