Thanks for the input everyone. I bought the Browning A-bolt Micro 7mm-08 with a Bushnell Elite 4200 1.5-6x36mm scope.

Let us know how the gun handles for her...accuracy, recoil, fit and finish, scope results. It's always good to hear first hand consumer resluts here.
