Opinion on REM 700 XCR

Opinion on REM 700 XCR
Does anybody own or have experience with the 700 XCR? I am going on an Elk hunt next year in NMan plan on getting a new rifle for this hunt. I have already decided on getting a .338 Rem Ultra Mag. Other manufacturer recommendations are also welcome.

I have looked at them and they seem like a good rifle.I own two 300ultramags myself and I am sure that the 338ultramag will do a great job for you.I do however hope that you reload as the factory loads for all of the ultramags are very mildand do not usethe cartridges potentials.Recoil will be stiff as well.
