i would say a simmons is your best value. ifyou spend a 100.00 or 150.00 dollars on a simmons you will have a nice scope. even the cheap ones are super clear.

IMHO, the NEWER...not the older...BSA Catseye are worth taking a look at. Can't argue with the "cheap" Bushnells...many of my rifle bores are guided by them. One of my local gunshops had a huge sale and offered 3x9x40 Banners with adjustable eyepiece for$40...bought 3 of them! They don't belong on a heavy banger tho....again, IMHO.

I'm a Bushnell Banner fan for a inexpensive scope. They are well made and for the money you just can't beat them.I have a Bushnell Banner on a Muzzleloader and it has taken a lot of abuse and went through some strong loads, and it is still dead on, and very clear also. A good scope for the money without a doubt.

I just bought a Sightron I 3-9x40m for $119.00 and I must tell you, I am impressed with this Sightron.I had a friend over today and we were in my gun room. I showed him my new Sightron scope and he was shocked when I told him the cost of the scope. He guessed it as a very high dollar scope. The clarity of this scope is excellent. And their guarantee is real hard to beat.
