When I get my Bushmaster I hope to practise withought sights, I think it would be more fun that way. Given me bragging rights if I make hard shots with no scope ect.. Im planning on getting later on a Bushnell Halo scope. Are they good anyone use them? I hear good things about them.

I have never used open sights on a slug gun, so I can't compare. I have a cantilever barrel on my 11-87 with a 1.75-4x bushnel trophy scope. I think this is the perfect setup for a slug gun, and I highly recommend it. I usually shoot 3 inch groups at 100 yds.
