Thats another way for saying they missed. You can shoot an elk with a pointy stick, and if pierces both lungs it will not go a 1/4 mile, let alone two.

hey a$$ hole general area is where you are suppose to aim, and if that .243 is so damn good then why didn't that elk be put down where he stood and leave bigger blood spots than a dime. that 243 is good for deer and to small for elk and if you think that a .243 is good for elk you and that .243 can stick it up your a$$!!!!!!!!!

and using a .243 on polar bear you might as well just kiss yor a$$ good bye because you will be coming out of that polar bears a$$
