RE: i put my 22mag to the test

So you have never ever ever killed a snake, bird, opossum, skunk, raccoon, squirrel, or any other animal either out of season, with out a license, for target practice, or what ever reason other that protection or food?

Not once ever?

I have a real hard time believing that while you were growing in your teens as a teen that hunted you never once shot a bird.
Yep, I did. When I was 10 and didn't really know any better. But, I grew up, and learned the laws. I have not broken any hunting laws since. And, their is a difference between a 10 year old kid and a 26 year old adult.

I do beleive though that SHoNuff thought it was ok at the time. But, he should have checked the regs first. Hopefully he will learn from this and move on. I think that ALL laws should be followed. Regardless of what we think about them. JMHO

NO, I have never shot anything out of season, nor without the required hunting licenses/permits.
And, NO, as a teen I never shot birds, etc.
Must be nice to hide behind your computer, and call folks liars.
You know you have called "95%" of the folks on this board a liar?
Please, please come to SW Virginia [:@]

this weekend we had a great time in Columbia Lousiana. I meet some really good people and hard a great time hunting hogs and plinkin away at turtles and snakes.
I had my trusty Marlin 22magnum with about 50rounds. I was making shots at 100+yards and even across the lakes/ponds my shots couldnt miss. i think the 4 i misses were due to the trigger pull or the dirty barrel. I busted a bird (not sure what kind) sittin on a branch across a 150yard pond about 40feet up with no problem. ..... Turtles up to 100 yards on the water. Im not just saying all this to brag.... ok yea i am.
Thanks a lot! [:@] Shooters/hunters have enough problems with all the anti stuff, and you got to go bustin turtles, and UNIDENTIFIED stuff (birds). Oh yeah, not to mention
unsafe shooting practices - like shooting across lakes/ponds, and birds sitting on a branch. Ever heard of ricochets? How about proper backstops? Know your target, AND
what's beyond it. Top it all off, you want to brag about it.
You remind me of a line from a favorite movie: "Texans, lowest form of white man there is!" (Robert Duvall in "Geronimo")

ps: Think maybe I'll send this infor. to the LA. state G&F folks. How the heck did you ever pass a firearms safety course! Ethics need a little help too!

Darn skippy!!! I was taught to always keep shots low with a rifle even with a 22, shooting birds from a tree with a 22 mag , thats means the barrel would have been pointing somewhat upwards, if the bullet failed to hit a solid object who knows where that bullet could have gone, could hit a person over a mile away, people that have no common sense about things like that have no business with a gun..................[:@][:@][:@]

I don't think he was ever hiding around his computer. He saying what he feels. A man can still do that in this country andhas that right without fear of reprecussion of violence. And we should encourage free discussion on boards. He don't believe you. And you know I sure don'tbelieve a word that comes out your mouth. I have that right. I mean what are you going to do if someone says your a liar to your face in SW VA? Are you going to break the law by "assulting" them. Wow, that can go into a felony. I am sure your cop buddies would get you out of it. But still doesn't mean your above the law. I am from that area and understand the menality pretty well. Thank goodness I have changed my life by growing out of it. or at least trying too. How old are you again?

BC the man is a reckless Jackass.
now hold the he// up brosiff. i didnt do a think to you or your girl or anyone for that matter. I knew my shots and new the posible outcomes. There is always the CHANCE of something happening, you shoot at a deer miss, bullet bounces off 10 trees just to hita fella in a tree stand. Is that the same thing? Yes a freak accident is one thing, you not likeing what i did, i can atleast respect your opinion on. But when you wanna hide behind a PC and call ppl out and talk trash ABOUT them not there actions. This p!sses me off. Its People like you that make the world a crappy place to live. Not some guy like myself, check the mirror before you judge. -Peace!!

Well my inlaws live in Virginia so I am quite sure I will be in the state before too long. We can meet behind the school house after recess.[&:]

I sure would hate to see such a spotless reputation and career messed up because your panties are all bunched up. I mean this would obviously be your first ever law breaking incident.

If, in fact, you have never ever shot any kind of animal ever then you are in the very rare 5%. However I still have a hard time believing you when you say that.
