well i went to my dealer this past weekend and i seen a 7mag in a svage and the price was 316$ for a synthetic stock. Well if i wanna get a gun i wnna get a good one, one that will last for ever(n trust me i take really really good care of my guns) so do u think that a svage can last on the minimum of 20 yrs with good care??????

Savage makes very good guns. On average, seems out-of-the-box accuracy with most
Savage rifles is better than with most other makes. Will it last you 20years? Don't know. A lot depends on the care you give it, and how much shooting you'll be doing with it. The Savage should last as long as any other.

Savage makes a good solid and very accurate rifle in my opinion, i have seen many outshoot rifles 3X as expensive

I think their guns are as good as anyone of the US manufacturers.

Savage is the king of out of the box accuracy, their triggers are phenomenal, the only dept. they lack in is aesthetics. A great rifle.

Savage makes good guns but I like Rugers better for not much more money. Walmart has Ruger 77s for about $450 and they have the intrical rings and bases which will save you some money.

but out in denver i havn't seen a walmart that carries a 7mm and plus i am going to be 15 on sunday and i was saving up money to buy a gun (off course my dad will have to put it under his name) and have been wanting a 7mag for a while and this is the cheapest brand new rifle that i have seen.( n yes if you have been seeing my other post i was acting like my dad)So the ? is does walmart carry a 7mag taht is cheaper??

i had a ruger in a 7mag that was on lay a way but some issuies cam up and i had to tak it off and it was about 479$ so i need something a lil cheaper[:@]

i would go with savage all the way. i have a .270 model 110, that i picked up at a used gun shop for around $300, including scope, mounts, sling, and a box of premium ammo. this gun was about 5 years old, but i have seen ones that were 20+ years old, and were in perfect condition. they will last forever if you take care of them. they are extremely accurate, and as it was stated vefore, they will out shoot rifles that are 3 or 4X's the amount. the actions are smooth, and the safetys have a great record. they arent all that heavy. if i was 15 i would buy one. i am 14 and i have had mine for 2 , almost 3 years. i will buy another one, if this one ever wears out.
