Doesn't the bullet alone on a 460 weigh as much as a complete 243 cartridge?:D

But would it expand at all in a deers chest? In turn it should only make a arrow sized hole. Right?

I do not think most hunters know or understand how or why expantion works. Most guys do not get to kill enough deer/game to see the real deal. So they have to go off what the little pic on the box says.I think this is a real problem.The bullet dealers test there bulets in there best addvantages.Not in real instances. I would think the 460 would be just like the cap and ball on deer.

They would bouth kill deer but the 460 would do less meat damage.

so you see, the 243 has as much velocity as the 460 does at 500 yds which means it hits harder and kills more efficiently. ;)
