I've noticed alot of "bargins" list in CDNN Investments, namely Weatherby rifle that claim to be in perfect condition but the box is marked "2nd" and marked "2nd" on the inside of the receiver but won't show when the bolt is closed... etc, etc. What the heck does this mean? Are these rifles factory screw-ups? The prices are pretty low on them and of course on this brand of rifle, especially Mark V's, I become leary.

I would go straight to the horses mouth and call Weatherby Customer Service. Certain Sako demo rifles are marked accordingly may be the same with WEatherbys.. Let me put it this way. If there was a problem with the rifle and you sent it back to WEatherby they would determine if fix was free or not. Call them and ask about these stampings.

I just picked up one if those very rifles in 7mmo8 . The gun is perfect except for some shading differences on the barrells black finish .You really have to look to see it . I have two other Weatherby,s both I paid alot more money for and if I put the three together you would have a hard time picking the flawed one . Oh yeah It come with Weatherbys life time warrenty .
