I didn't know they made 25 round magazines for the 597. It would be a waste of money if you ask me since I could never get the one I had to go through a 10 round magazine without jamming several times.

i dont think they do but thought maybe there was a chance a company made some. it wouldnt be a waste of money to me. mine went through about 200 shots yesterday and jammed once i believe. either way it is a good deal b/c it was free.

Frizz! That way you can get 2 1/2 times the jambs, without reloading your door-stop/paper-weight/troutline-anchor/597!
Seriously, I haven't heard of anyone making 25 rounders for the 597 either!

I have a 597 in 22 mag. The only time it ever jams is when I use federal ammo. It love the remington v-max ammo. It has a heavy barrel and it is a tack driver. I went to the range Saturday and shot three five shoot groups that were could be covered with a dime. It will not shoot the federal ammo though. The v-max are on the expensive side for just shooting.

The factory magazine holds 10 jams, i mean rounds.

My 597 jams a bit too, might just be the ammo. But it doesnt bother me. Ive only heard of high capacity clips for a 10/22 ruger but not for a 597.
