another for walleyes, perch, and crappies. all are tops for the freshwater in my book.
Cant say much for yellows vs whites....If I ever had both, I never knew it. I think most of what we caught was yellows though and we all loved them. Might have something to do with the lake/river system in which you are fishing, doubtful but maybe.

I have had more then my fare share of Pike, although never on a camp fire....they aint bad, but walleyes OK...gasp. To much bicardi with your fish son lol! Dont bother coming up here and waisting your time with the halibut then if eyes are just ok, 230 bucks for an ok fish just aint worth it <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>! Better yet, lets go, I'll take half your fish lol! Smallies were ok the few times I have ate them, never fished them much growin up. It was eyes, perch and crappies we were after the majority of the time!
