thats pretty wild......about the fish.....flatheads get ALOT bigger....that one looks to be 40lbs or so..somewhere in the 30-60range.....i cant see it all.....but its not a huge one for a flathead.....they get upto 90+lbs......i love catfishing.....just wish we had more big ones here......but the little ones are a blast to catch too.......i only caught one flat head...about 15lbs...this year i just might try to fish for them......i never realy fished for them...caught the one by luck.....thats crazy....wonder why he ate that ball....well....tried too......and i cant believe he didnt pop it himself...they have very strong jaws....

Yea a guy cought one here in Ohio at Miami Whitewater Park and it was 74 lbs.
