Reeds stuck on mouth calls
First, if I peel them apart, are they likely towork fine or stretch too much and not sound they way they are supposed to?
Second, what do you put between the reedsto keep them separated for storage?
Any help would be appreciated!

you may soak them in water with a little mouth wash and see if they will come apart.I don't think they will stretch to much if you don't pull on them to much.I have had a couple stick and didn't worry bout them.
as far as putting something in them , some people put a 1/2 toothpick inbetween the reeds.
if you store them in a holder with mouthwast in it, they want stick.
I have one with two reeds that have been stuck for two years and still works great.

I wouldn't recommend soaking them in mouth wash unless it's non alcoholic wash. The alcohol will break down the latex....
Throwing them in your mouth and soaking them works as well....lub up real good and carefully pull them apart with your fingers and tongue.
Flat tooth picks work as well when you store them. Wash them out under running water after a day afield and slip tooth picks, straws or whatever between the reeds to keep them from sticking. You'll still have to moisten them up in your mouth prior to going afield again but at least they won't be stuck as bad.....there are also factory gizmos available for mouth calls.
