Anyone else been out fishing? Caught 5 crappie in 30-40 minutes today in a little pond I fish. They didnt have any size to them but was just good to get out and go fishing. The last few days ive fished this pond all ive caught was perch and small bass, today all i caught was crappie. Also noticed a duck sittin on 14 eggs, finaly spring here.

I caught a couple nice ones on Lake Fork last week. 2 were around a pound and half and the other was around a pound.

Ive been out a few times this year only catching carp so far. But thats what I was fishing for too. I didnt get out some lures and try for some bass and pickerel no luck yet. My son caught 3 pickerel and a Northern pick the same day I was out... hmmm my son is up on me. Hes a good fisherman, pretty soon he will be showing me how to catch fish.

No crappie today, had one big bass pull my line out and spit out my lure and just casualy swim off [:-] Slaughtered the perch today though, caught around 35 in an hour. Man the turtles are OVERUNING this pond I was at, we call it the rock query cause its loaded with rocks. There where about 25 on the rocks when I walked up to the pond.

how are the crappie biting up on tenkiller?

drove to hickory creek (by lake murray)yesterday we caught 14 sand bass in the morning they just weren't biting good, today i walked the Little River by thunderbird caught 8 sand bass in about two hours.
