well barile I ice fish beside 2 friendly gentlemen that both have one. They always tell my when a fish is headed my way so its pretty convienent for me. What i like about the aqua view is it allows u to see the species and size of the fish not just a little fish symbol on your sonar. I also like the idea that u can watch how a fish reacts to your bait. Now what i don't like about about the view is that i think if i owned one i would be too ancy on my hook sets and would not let the fish really take the hook good before i set it. I have sight fished in shallow water before and honestly i would have caught more fish if i wasn't looking. Another thing i don't like about the aqua view is that as soon as the sun starts goin down the screen is black right at the prime time walleye bite. Now i'm not sure if u can get a light or make some type of a modification so this doesn't happen. Overall its a good investment for determining the size, species, and how fish react to bait but i really don't think it gives you a large advantage because the two gentlemen i fish beside have yet to outfish me on all 12 of my outings this year.

I have one and when they are working they are a very good product.

My complaint with aqua vu is in the recharging of their batteries. This is my second battery in 2 years. The first one would'nt hold a charge and the second one I haven't used yet. The darn battery runs $40.00 not to cheap. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one hold up.

Good Luck ubub

Is there a product to capture images from the aqua vu? I think it would be really neat to see some pictures.

I don't know if I would like to own an aquavu. I mean it just breaks your heart when you watch a big ole bass, pike, or musky follow a spinnerbait right to the boat w/out biting. I mean, you could see the fish, but if it doesn't bite, it could just make things fustrating!
