a dropshot rig usaully is a hook usaully circle with about a foot of line below the hook with a small weight usaully 1/4 or lighter the worm is a small worm senko, roboworm, etc. to use a dropshot rigyou must twitch it slightly and bring in slowly in if have anymore questions let me know

i basically fish a dropshot like a carolina rig. SLOWLY. its main purpose is to 'suspend' the lure above the bottom, and being able to keep it in the same spot, while still being able to move it slightly.

Ive done a modified dropshot with a crankbait, for spawning beds. I use a heavy ( 1 or 2 oz) weight below a crankbait, cast well beyond the bed until the weight is just at the edge of it, then raise and lower the crankbait in the bed repeatedly.
