Still no spawn..but the wild boar backstrap was great
Matt and I went out to Saddle Creek..Still no spawn but gettign close..The beds were just made and the females were full of roe but in the deep..Matt out fished me today..We first tried flipping and then moved to deeper water.where he found a nice 2 1/2 and a fiesty 3 pounder..to up his tourny totals to 6 1/2 pounds..
I caught one dink..We will try again as the full moon is Wed..We plan to fish Mon. after work..Flipping can be dangerous as you can see this 10 foot gator would not budge..[8D]Matt is quite brave ..BUT as I tried to get closer for a better shot..he says, " Stop,,it's time to move on."
so I did..
We had wild boar back strap for lunch..this was my serving.

I can not say I can blame Matt any !!! Then again I am not used to fishing with gators swimming around me none at all.. It sounds as though you and matt had a great day out there tho..

Yes sir..I love spending time with Matt..He has out fished me the last 3 times..and he's in the back of the boat..[:-]
Yesterday we both saw 3 nice suspended bass..in clear water.. I chucked my rooster tail spinner in thier direction..The fattest one followed it but would not strike..O figure Power Pro is not good in crystal clear water so last night I found a new fluorocarbon line..It's 10.00 for 110 yds.It' made by Trilene. All they had left was 8 and 10 pound test so I got some 10. I let you all know how it is..I'm a big fan of Trilene..but still haven't found a Fluorocarbon I'm fond of..I hope it works out..I plan to fish a little this morning,

The camera doen't help the fish..WE both felt it was at least a 5 pounder when it was jumping and had those bright red gills open..
The boar was very good..actuallyt it was a sow.We are cleaning out the freezer. I went fishing today..not one bump..The area looks good and I know there are many hawgs in there.I can't wait till they turn on..
