Bass Fishing the Midwest Flood
This question is open to all regions, but here in the midwest flooding is awful! Rain upon rain, storm upon storm had pounded the lakes in rivers above flood stage. The lake I am fishing is about foot and half high. Solid banks with weed beds, and large drop-off (10-15 foot) The area literally goes from 4 foot to 20 foot within 5 horiztonal foot difference.
[ul][*]Will the fish be up above the old weed line feeding in the "shallows"?[*]Will they be deep gorging on the bottom food?[*]Will they be suspended on the "therma-cline"?[/ul]
Thanks for the help guys.
I know I will figure it out on my own, but just looking for opinions. Going fishing tomorrow morning.

water going up, fish move up, going down, they go down/pull out
with the water going up think of all the new introductions into the water
me, i'd be fishing the narrow stuff while its risingto stable when it starts falling pull out

Fish follow the food. The bass's food base has moved up into the lush new vegetation to eat all of the insects and other treats. Bass being the predatory fish that it is will follow its food base up into the shallows.
