Got a few kings and a steel today, one of the nicer kings....

Hey Carpmaster that king doesn't look like a carp to me.. LOL Congrats!!!

Chuck, you see that shot short thing with a pulley on it? That is a down rigger and on the bottom of it is a big lead weight and it is used to control depth when trolling. A lot of people use them in the deep lakes and the fishing rods are attached to it. When a fish hits it, it will release the fishing line and the rod will bounce with the action...

Light coat of olive oil and cover with lemon pepper. grill skin side downuntil the edges turn black. UMMM! Im going to have to break some out myself. Good Fish!

got a new one for ya - awesome!!!!

fillet - remove skin - cut fillets vertically into 3-? steak like pieces - season to taste - wrap with thin bacon, pin with toothpick well. - grill over hot flame turning to keep from burning - once bacon is crispy and fish is almost done move "steaks" to al foil tray ... turn heat down douse w fav bbq an cook 6 min turn once.....

My brother and I were in algoma early this week and got some dandy kings he is still over their and I will post the pics when he gets back took the pics with his camera... Nice king carp..
