But You see buying a fish/depth finder also gives me a reason to buy a newboat

With all those beautiful Wyoming trout streams..I'd be simply wading .c7
Thats possible to do in some places yep.

Wy really dont have a lot of water like some places- but there are some man made reserviors southwest of my home that contain wallys( platte river system)& another smaller res in the northeast corner /black hills area that has northerns etc i like to use a boat on.

Granted the one res is so drawn down& drybecause of yrsof drought& Low snow pack you could wade across it maybe if you have really long legs.

Me& mate like catching rainbows( thats what me mostly catch around ourhouseanyways)
0but we mainly avoid them & try for the wallys& northerns we dont like eating those rainbows much- but those wally&[8D] northerns we love to eat.

Theres quite a few places in Wywe still havent made it to with or without a boat to fish.( but we drive 1000 + miles to fish elsewhere every yr[&:])

Flaming gourge on the utah border being one of there& the one near shoshoni/riverton( the boysen res, more good walleye, perch etcfishing)

Yes two more good reasonsfor a boat.

And those stripers or whatever it is down in flaming gourge-

Even on alcova( pretty close to home)(a small res) its nice to go into the caynons with a boat-

Shaded by the sheer rock walls of the canyons walls both sides- nice& quiet& cool out of the sun...

wind river be nice to - and in a boat you can get to places to both hunt& fish that those without a boat cant get to unless there mtn goats& or mtnpanthers or have wings

Dont you go saltwater fishing C7?

I think i remember seeing some depth finders( a few small/ portable models) that you used from shore( like a lure) even for those without a boat.

I need a boat to attach mine to tho
