When i was growing up I was surrounded by 4 dairy farms...Hunting was awesome.. I went back and all the farms are sold. We had a small gamebird farm where we raised ring necks, quail, chukars amd mallard ducks. I knew a lot of crazy people there and was glad to leaveto behonest with ya..After I got my drivers license I started trout fishing. Maryland has some nice trout streams.

DO NOT use WD-40 on your baitcasters!!!!! Guys I seen this on another site and just wanted to give you a heads up. I have never used this stuff on my reels however, I have certain family member that did all the time.
Although it may be a quick fix for a squalling bearing it is going to liquefy the grease that is on your gears.
Just got done with a reel that has had a couple of heavy doses of WD-40 and although the bearings were in great shape the drive and pinion gear have so much wear on them that they will have to be replaced. This happened because the WD-40 disintegrated the grease and left the gears dry and then being brass gears it doesn't take long to wear them down
If you have a bearing making noise, spend the time to go get you some reel oil from your local parts store or BPS and cure it that way
sewing machine oil or any fine oil will work and use it sparingly to prevent oil getting into the grease of your reel and removing it.
