Went out last night andcaught 9 blues and 1 channel. Nothing to big however. I was using Sonny's stink bait and nightcrawlers. Probably would of caught more, but I was chasing my new pup around most of the time.

Went out again last night for about 2 hourswith a friend and caught 11 channels. They were biting real good on the fresh shad we caught.

Went out again, but the water wasn't getting pumped out though so shad was hard to come by. We got a few and went farther down the bank to a point and started nailing them about an hour till dark. Caught around 15 channels on both cut shad and stink bait. Also caught 2 gar on shad.

we catch them year round here in the St. Johns river..i use grass shrimp for bait..nothing bigger than 5 or 6 lbs but i like the fingerlings to eat anyway..

today fishing for smallmouth while i was wading i almsot stepped on a catfish......my guess is about 8 pounds....dont know what kind it was..

got one a minow this year looking for bass
