Default RE: Braided line question?

ORIGINAL: jepcho

I have always used mono but last night I bought some Fireline. I was wondering, when tying a lure/hook on, do you use the same knot you would with regular mono or is there something different you have to do? Thanks for any help.

fireline isnt braided line just had to correct you, I believe its what they call a fused micro dyneema, it still the same material as braided only instead of braiding it together its fused with nylon. I just use a duoble clinch knot if im in a hurry or if i have time to sit and tye a knot I use the palomar knot. good luck
