Default difference between savage 110-111

I have a savage 111. I know that the 111 is the economy version. The only difference I can see is mine does not have the accu-triger and it has a removable magizine. Will mine shoot as good as the 110, and can I fit an accu-triger on it? Thanks in advance

SCHOOLBOY - The Accutrigger is a new addition to all Savage rifles within the last two years or so. None have previously had them before that. Now ALL Savage rifles come with the Accutrigger (centerfire rifles that is). So, as compared to older versions (which you have), the only difference between the 110 and 111 is the removable magazine, thats it. And, no, you can't get the Accutrigger as an aftermarket part for the older Savages.

I bought the rifle 6 months ago. It was an economy combo model with a 3x9 scope. It was not a left over model.

My bad, didn't realize they didn't put the Accutrigger on the 111/11's. Oh, and as far as it shooting as good. That's the fun part about shooting, you have to do it and find out

But it should shoot fine!

The accutrigger is on all 110/111 models. It can out in 2003 on the Varmint and Law Enforcement models and 2004 on all others except the Strikers and the Shot/Slug guns.

It will shoot as good as a 110 model although you may need to do a trigger job to lighten the pull.
