Default Commercial 44 mag loads

Of the loads available in stores, does anybody have a recomendation for a brand I could use for Texas deer and hog hunting?

I preffer heavy bullets. Have just target shot with 240gr Mag Tech, 180 gr UMC and 200 gr Fiocchi. My rifle groups best with Mag Tech, but the first three boxs I bought required re-zero with each box change. There was not a change in the loads. Just differant boxes. I did not like that.

i found the best ones to use in my 6-1/2 pistol barrel were the american eagle 240 hollow points. made by federal. also try to get the same lot number when you are buying more than one box. with a scope mine shot very well at 80 yards. i am sure they would do much better in a rifle.

Cabella's remanufactured .240gr .44 simi-wad cutters will work on Hogs
at 25 to 35yds but never tried them on deer.
