I am thinking of buying a new Pentax scope for my 270 WBY.
I was a big Redfield fan before they sold out...
I like the Leupold scopes but I am a little gun shy of them sinse one fell from togatherness on my 375 Rum. Got a big riot act from Leupold about their guarentee!!!!!!!
So on that note, I am looking at the Pentax scopes. They are made here in the USA, and I have heard that they do stand behinde their scopes 100%.
Just woundering what you think.
Thank you
Leroy

i do not have a pentax. i became interested in them when they came out with the light seeker model.they do have a prob and that it really distorts the images when the day has any sunshine.it could not see into dark area with it either.i have not heard anything bad about the other models

Made by Burris using not sure who's lenses..The only problem they may have is mounting since the adjustment turrets are not equal between objective and ocular. They hold up real well and are very clear and bright, there are just much better choices out there these days.

Well thats what I was woundering about.
Sometimes you get some pretty bad information from those who are trying to sell you something over the counter.
Thank you for the info.
