Default Pentax?

Any of you guys have a Pentax rifle scope. I'm in the market for a new scope to throw on my 7mm mag. I don't have a ton of money to spend and have been looking at the Pentax Gameseeker but would like to hear from others before i buy. Any feedback you guys give would be greatly appreciated.

i put a Pentax on my T/C ProHunter and love it. i too couldn't afford spending $500.00+ on glass after spending what i did for the rifle. the Pentax is clear, bright and sharper than some Leupolds i have looked through. i dunno how long it will last due to only buying it at the end of last deer season. so far no complaints.

What's your price range and you'll get some suggestions. You can always find a used Vari-X II on ebay for a good price. I have Bushnell Elites, Nikon Buckmasters and Prostaff as well as Leupold's on my guns. It's all in want you want and what your putting it on.

If money really is an issue look at the Gameseeker series. I put one on my new '06 and it's GREAT. Very clear and appears to be good in low light. I haven't hunted with it yet. I got a 3-9x50 new for $99 shipped. I know it's at or near the bottom line of Pentax but I'd rather buy a low end Pentax than a mid-range Bushnell, Simmons or Tasco. Also, I stay away from used scopes. Unless you know the previous owner you may be buying someone elses problem.
