Here is a tip. Find several guys who want to order the same caliber of ammo and are willing to buy the same brand (may not necessarily be the brand you like best). Find out thetotal numbercases of ammo for your order(case is usually 1,000 rounds). Check with local FFLs who also sell ammo to get price quotes. Place your order. If you make a downpayment, get everything in writing. We have a FFL at my club who also sells ammo (he is picky who he sells to). From time to time he will make a notice on his websitewhen he is planning to place a big order and the prices. Those interested can place their order, and we pay when we pick up the ammo.
