Default Taurus 45 Auto 1911

Has anyone put some rounds through the Taurus 1911. I looked at one today and it looks pretty good. The action seamed smooth and the trigger was not bad. The price is right but there isn't much info out there yet.

A buddy bought 1 and I have got to shoot it quite a bit and can tell you that I honestly feel it's the best 1911 out there not only within it's price range but also it shoots better than some 1911s costing hundreds of dollars more.

The PT1911 is a different gun than the 24/7. Its new and uses most other 1911 parts. It seems to out perform the 24/7 according to the Taurus forums on Greybeard. Thanks for the reply all.
