Default 1911-style Taurus?

Anybody have any info on this new offering? I saw them talking about it on Guns & Ammo TV, they mention an MSRP of $500.00. If it's a decent pistol that is a steal for a 1911-style pistol.

I just saw this pistol on TV where they were showing it at the shot show. You're right
now as soon as I can wipe the drool off my face, I'm calling the gun shop and order one.
Looks very nice. Stainless, ambidexterous safety (which is good for us leftys), good sights, and a bunch of other offerings. Taurus rep stated that they have about $800 in what you would pay in custom work into these pistols at a MSRP of $499.

My dealer didnt have a whole lot of details for me, I do know they are offered in 45 acp for sure. I have a strong feeling taurus will offer them in other calibers too. Any ideas on when they will be available for ordering? earlier i mentioned i had oredered one i should have specified Im actually on a waiting list , so once they are available to be ordered my dealers knows howmany to order. I cant wait im soooo looking forward to having that gun in my hands.

got a little info from another dealer in town, he said that the price should be around $300 to $350 for them. Also found a picture online so you guys can put it on your back ground and drool every time you turn your PC on LOL

Dang that thing is loaded with features. It also looks to be very well finished. I hope the insides look as good as the outside does and it shoots as good as it looks.

HDW, is that price retail??????

I just may have to snatch one up when we get them.
