Default Looking for a comfortable Rifle Sling!

I was looking for some suggestions for a sling. I hike about a mile to my stand during deer season. I usually carry a backpack on my back then throw my rifle around my back on top of it. I am constantly holding the leather sling from digging into my neck. I was wondering if the neoprene slings are any good? Or maybe the Claw which appears to be rubber? The leather one I use is designed as a shoulder sling with the thumb loop, but it isn't long enough to go around my back. I figured someone here has the perfect sling and would love to share their info.

Thanks

Check out the Ultraflex sling. It's made out of a rubber material and won't fall off your shoulder. It's hands down the best sling I've ever used!

The neoprene slings from Butler Creek are the way to go. My father & I both switched from leather slings to Neoprene slings. You will be suprised how much better neoprene slings holdthe gun on your shoulder.

Oh sweet Jesus yes!

Those BC slings rock. All I use anymore. The stretch nicely and are about a 1/2" thick. Great stuff.

I agree the BC neoprene. I also have become fond of the safari sling for carrying/walking/calling use. Here is a link to the safari from cabelas website: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0005803220723a&type=product&cm Cat=search-perf&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&&QueryText=safari+sling&N =4887&Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&N ty=1&Ntt=safari+sling&noImage=0&rid=01 80101070502&cmCat=perf&cm_ven=performics&a mp;cm_cat=yahoo_nonbrand&cm_pla=hunt_safari&am p;cm_ite=safari%20sling&OVMTC=standard&OVK EY=safari%20sling&OVRAW=safari%20sling&_re questid=31067

Both IMHO are better then a leather sling with the exception if you use the sling as a shooting aid.(which I don't)
