Default Rossi/Braztech matched pair owners. Question

I have a couple of different sets of the Matched Pairs by Rossi/Braztech and so far they have been pretty good guns. Simple, quick handling and light and accurate. I have one that is the .223/12 gauge and another that is a Youth model in .243/20 gauge (which is actually my favorite to shoot, the 20g is perfect for hauling in the truck). What I am wondering is if anybody has ever send thier gun in to have a new barrel fitted to it? I am kindof wanting to get maybe a .22, .410 and maybe a .270 barrel made up for mine. I have seen the barrels on Ebay a few times, but know that chances are the barrel wont quite line up and at the very least the headspacing would be either too tight or too loose.

The sames rules apply to the NEF Handi Rifles, I would for sure send it in to get fitted, you just never know what someone might have done to their barrel, and, by sending it in to the factory, you are insured, that it will be properly spaced, and correctly fitted.

I am fully aware of what you are saying Chantecler111. The problem that I am having and the reason that I am posting the question here is that anytime that I have been to the Rossi/Braztech website is that thier exchange program isnt posted on the site yet, it keeps telling me that they are still working on it. I was also hoping that if I can find somebody who has already had a barrel fitted would clue me in to how much I can expect to pay for it.

Evidently. (did I just mispell that?) They are great little guns, very similar to the NEF single shots.

I just gave my son a 410/22lr combo for Christmas. I like it, he likes the 22 better than the 410. It slaped him a lot harder than i remmember it kicking me. The gunshop said they were putting an end to the combos. They said some customers are having problems with alighnment. I thought i was buying just a 410, and that was what they charged me for. I didn't find the 22 barrel until i went to wrap it. Any who, they told me i would have to call Rossi for info on getting new barrels. NEF wasasking 100-125 bucks for a new barrel.

Thanks for that information. Heck, the first matched pair that I bought, I bought for under $100 lol. It was when a local chain store around here was discontuing firearm sales.

I currently own 2 of these guns, one is the .22/.410 and theother is in .270 (which I just bought on here yesterday in the classifieds section) I havent shot either of them, but I am hoping they make nice starter rifles for both of my daughters. I also got my combo at a retail store for $99, I mean if it shoots decent GREAT, if not I sell it at a pawn shop and lose only $50.
