Default TIKA or Remington

Here's my delima. I bought a Win Mod 70 Ultimate Shawdow SS 300wsm this summer. I have put $125 worth of different ammos at dealer cost throught it and I can not get it honed in to my liking. It will shoot 1 or 2 in the zone and then 3 and 4 will be high and right or vice versa. I've tried a different scope and its the same story. I'm done with it. The gun was out of the box whenI bought it. I was told it was a demo gun that was never shot but now I'm wondering if it was dropped or something. My dad, one of my friends, and I have all shot it and all have had the same results with it. So here's my next step...trade it in and get another gun...

I looked at the Rem SPS before I got this one and I like it. I've hada 700adl 270 since I can remember. It shoots dime groups 100yds.

I have looked at the Tikka's and from what I've read on here it seems to be a popular gun.

Why do you guys like the Tikka's and would you suggest one over a rem?
T3Lite 300wsm or SPS 300wsm is what I would get. $$$ wise the Tika is a little more but if its a better gun I would get it.

THANKS!
RH

I have had good luck with my 700s,but the t-3s that I have fired were a little more accurate on average.

Tikka, Sako quality with a reasonable price tag!

A friend has both and a sako in 300wsm and all three shoot very well after finding the right load, don't remember the load but he shoots the 180 sst's in all three. He said the remington was somewhat harder to find the right load for.He says the tikka shoots a little better than the sako also.We shot all three last friday and to me they all shot about the same.
I did have one in a browning with the boss on it and it would really shoot too.

I prefer the Tikka. They average better accuracy and the workmanship seems a notch up on the Remingtons.

I got the Tikka t3 lite ss. I shot it 4 times today before the rain got me. Shoot clean shoot clean...took me while. Either way apparently it wasn't bore sighted. I shot 2 times @ 100, 1@50, and 1@25 before I touched paper. Recoil is moderate and I would say less than the mod70 I traded in. The trigger is awesome! I love it. I'm going to take it back to the range sunday. Maybe it will be better weather.
Heres a pic.
