What is the best 20 ga auto for upland bird hunting? Mainly quail.
Thanks

I have a Remington 1100 LT-20 for dove hunting. I just love it. With a shorter barrel, I imagine it would be a great quail gun.

I have a Benelli Monte Feltro 20 ga that is a real sweet heart. Very light and reliable. The price is a bit steep, around $800.

I would get the Benelli Montefeltro also, they are very nice guns. They are like little 20ga SBEs.

I have bought 3 Benelli M1 Super 90 20 gauges for me and my 2 sons. They are great!

In this order.
1. Franchi AL 48
2. Benelli Montefeltro

Both are very thin and very light that will be easy to carry all day. The Franchi is long recoil operated and the Benelli is inertia operated. The Franchi is 1 1/2" shorter in over all length and the Benelli has a 3" chamber to the Franchi's 2 3/4" only.
