i don't think it would. it's a great cartridge. it doesn't have very much recoil and has plenty of power for any varmit and deer. i personally really like the cartridge and i may be getting one. i think it would be a great choice for a varmit cartridge.

I bought it! The NEF .243 that is. It really feels tight. Havent shot it yet but am looking forward to getting it at a range. Now, I just need a scope,,,,,,,. EJ
