Default Hearing aid update

Ok, I've had these things since May 28th, and the ones I have now are going back !!!!! They aren't doing what I or the doctor thought they would do. They have thre circuits in them, #1 for normal situations, #2 a little muted for noisy areas and #3 for use on the phones. Well if you remember, they don't work with any of my phones due to the feedback and the phone can't get close enought to my ear. The #2 circuit doesnt' really work because if I am in a noisy restaurant, and put it on that circuit, then I can't hear the person accross the table from me talking. the doc said that when the background noise gets about 10 decibels more than what you are trying to hear, they don't do much good anyway, even for people with normal hearing. Sooooo, 2 out of the 3 don't do what they were intended to do. These are going back, I just have to pay a small trial period fee and we have ordered new aids with basically just the #1 circuit thingy. It will also have the sound suppression for when I go deer hunting or pheasant hunting, I won't blow my ears out from the noise of gunfire. The new ones are also $900 less money, LOL !!

Bruce, I appreciate the offer, but aI don'[t think that would help me out. I only use 3 phones, my cell phone, which I can't change, the phone at my house, which I can't change because it's a cordless and the phone where I work. They got me a little amplifier box that I connect into the line for that one and it helps quite a bit.

again thatnks for the offer, but I think I'm stuck just taking it out when I talk on the phones !
