Greg! just put the address between the 2 set's of brackets .I've posted just above to show you how it's done ,the aaaa is for the address after the address and that's all there is to it bud.

Anyway's guy's I posted last night that I had put a Capt in place of my absense when i head out on Sept 20th for the moose hunt .I stated that Greg Wilson of Star Tannery would be taking my place ,but It's actually Mike Poole who will be taking my place ,I've changed it on my other posting now .Sorry for this confusion ,I have all the names wrote down with their Hunting net names and wrote down the wrong one DUH!

I see you got it Greg! thank's hope I have some pic's to share with you guy's when I get back. Show ya's what this BowTech can do.
Thank's Mike for letting me know of this mistake and taking my place ,I certainly appreciate it.Sorry Greg for giving you a job that you never knew about.

RE: Official Team "The Shafts" (11) Thread

Good news finally,

1. I got my bow back from the shop with a new serving on the string. (only cost $6.00) My guy said that the string was perfectly fine and had no reason to be replaced. Waxing it after every shooting session must mean something afterall.

2. It turns out that my quad wasn't really locked up in high gear. The mechanic told me that it was actually hung up between gears and showed me a lever that the sfift cable is attached to near the engine.
He simply pressed the lever with his thumb and it popped into gear and is now working fine. (cost $0.00)

3. I am still out one game camera that has been recently stolen. (cost $70.00)

All in all things are not as bad as they seemed yesterday!

As soon as this rain lets up I will start shooting again.
Good luck to all earlybird hunters. I can't wait till October.
Sincerely,
Mr.D

Sorry guy's I haven't been around too much lately but I've been trying to get prepared for the moose hunt next week . Hopefully you guy's are ready for the deer hunting season. Let'[s hear how you guy's are getting prepared . I've been checking my game cam and have been getting some pic's ,but I won't take my cam from this location till next weekend .I don't want to be hanging around this location too much so that I don't scare the deer too much. The owner has been watching his bean field regularly and has let me know that he has been watching a few buck's that are hanging out . But I'm ready to go for this season and I hope you guy's are.

Haven't received the list.
Been shooting a lot. I haven't scouted since my game cam was stolen.
There are no fields to glass on my mountain and wouldn't think about walking around up there this close to the season opener. Hopefully some of the bucks I have pics of will be around for another 2 weeks.

Good luck on your moose hunt! And post us some pics.

Well the NJ season is underway here with earn-a-buck kickin things off for us. Fortunatly I got a small doe opening day and opened up my tag for a buck.
I talked to someone today that hunts property bordering ours to the north and told me his friend spotted a 150class buck running around the property so we will see. My trip to Wisconsin is only 3 weeks away and I expect great things hopefully from this trip.
Will keep you all informed of the progress here in NJ
Everyone else, go get em'

Hey Team 11

I've got all my stands hung....and am anxiously awaiting Oct 2nd. I'm hoping to get a shot at the buck I saw just down from our property a month ago. For our area he was a real nice one, and would be a super bow kill. The white oaks are dropping pretty good here...so now for me it's gonna be a tough decision which stand to hunt during the early season. I don't know how much I will get to hunt this season since I will be changing jobs during October, but I may end up hunting alot during the first couple weeks if my game plan works out right. I'm hoping....:)

Trock...congrats on the doe! Now it's on to the horns...whack that big one :D Good luck on your hunt in Wisconsin....there's some bruisers up there for sure. We'll be awaiting the pics and stories!

Hey Nubo....maybe you can take a whopper moose...and we can have one of these techies photo shop him into a whitetail ;);) That would give us some inches! Good luck on your hunt too!

Fieldmouse....you might as well throw in the towel now....our team is the sleeper of the bunch. And isn't your claim to fame dinks anyhow? LOL ;)

Nubo,
I did not recieve a list of team members. Hope you have success on the moose hunt. Our deer season opens on the First of October. Plenty of food around so I guess I will have to go deep for the big bucks. Until the rut which is around the last three weeks in Dec.

That a baby Trock63!!! Now that you've earned your buck tag, onto bigger and better things.

Nubo...If I don't here from between now and when you leave, Good Luck. I have been researching the Ontario Moose tags and I was really getting excited until I told my wife what I might be planning. That didn't go over too big considering I already go on two hunting trips and a fishing trip every year. Oh well, we'll see.

To all of you,
My stands are set and I'm ready. Now, the countdown begins to October first. I put a new Trophy Ridge 5 pin (vertical) sight on my bow a week ago. I was worried about the change since it was kind of late but I've been shooting great. Went to a 3D shoot last weekend and beat my best score by 13 pts.

LuckyBuck! please send me your addy again for some reason it keep's coming back to me ,If you can't get in touch with me MrD has the list and he will gladly send it to you just let everyone know what your addy is so that they can change it .
I just want to let the team know that tonight I gained some inside info on on a record bull in my area from a friend who lives in my location ,so hopefully I'll get a good look at him .

Good luck Nubo. I went to Alaska about ten years ago to visit my wife's relatives. I wanted to go moose hunting and have access to a lot of property and the transportation to get around there. I didn't hunt since it was a family trip and visit. I know had I spent $400 for the license, I would have bow hunted every day from sun up to sun down. One day I will make the trip back up there. Until then, I'll keep reading about everyone else's moose hunts.

Be safe and drop a big one.

Well guys, I see team 8 has a good start. Tribal on their team shot one that will score somewhere in the high 130s or low 140s. Where is everyone??? By the sounds of it, the majority of our team hasn't began their hunting season yet...I guess that's a good thing. It's only right around the corner.

WV Hunter 09-24-2004 12:20 PM

RE: Official Team "The Shafts" (11) Thread

Hey guys....I don't know if you read it or not, but HNI wants us all to trim back our team logo's...taking up too much space. Also they asked that we only have one logo in our signature.

Anyhow I thought I'd ask for opinions on what we could do with ours? My personal opinion, I say we lose the names and just keep the center section...but by no means is that the way it has to be. I just think that portion looks awesome!

What do you guys think? Suggestions?

Bowdaddy I sent you an email to give you a heads up.

thanks guys
~mike
