Had a nice doe in tonight at 15yds just didnt give me the shot i wanted. O well thats huntin ill get her next time. havent seen any bucks yet the season is young only 2 days in. GET R DONE boys! good luck 2 everyone!

i passed a small buck tonight and two does. i seen a really really big deer but i wasnt sure what it was caus it was dark and horns dont show up in corn fields well either. o well thats hunting. good luck all

Got a Cub Scout camp-out this weekend,so there goes any hunting till next week.It's a shame,cause the scout camp is in a good area and I can't bring my bow!!!...Bob

Rediculous. I havent seen anything at all moving on public land, but i know they're there. Gonna check a spot tomorrow afternoon that i scouted last saturday, last nice day before the weekend, and once this weekend hits, alot of my spots dry up because of small game season opening. Unless the deer like guys with guns and dogs with electronic collars that go beep its gonna get real tough. When I first started hunting in this state a few years back, I figured when pheasant season opens, sitting in a tree on public land might be good if the deer get pushed around, but its a ZOO here. I've been rained on by pellets more than once...

Hopefully it thins out for ya soon RI, thats why i hate hunting public land!!!! There are big bucks taken off of it though every year. Maybe this weekend is the weekend guys lets put some inches on the board, I will be hunting a new private farm this weekend where ive seen a few 100 - 120 bucks regularly so lets all hope!!!!

Got me a doe last night. Shot her at 29yds double lung and liver she ran like 80yds. That was only my second deer with the bow. I havent seen many bucks yet this year. I only saw one and that was a spike once the rut kicks in ill see em. Git R done boys. Best of luck to everyone.

Got out for the evening watch tonight. My luck is holding... Nada. Bumped one walking down the trail to my stand, didn't see anything else. Its amazing how a couple of noisy squirrels can get your adrenaline going though, lol.
