I just shot Highcountry_brutefroce an email. Looks like has been posting the last couple days so he's around.

Got 6 new arrows today. Haven't picked out the individual arrow yet that is gonna take down the BRUTE. Got the Easton Excels.
Sept 15th is our opener, but I probably, won't get out until the first week of October.

Gotta get some more practice in.

After Rack-attack's feeble or is that paranoid dig[:'(], I am all for Team Four Destroyer as our Team name as mammasboy suggested. Well not really. No point in boosting their egos and letting them think they are a threat. Reality this fall will be cruel enough for them. Rack-Attack will just have to tough it out this year. Hopefully they have the contest again next year and he gets on a good team!!

You guys can pick the name for us for team. I actually like Team 5. Course TJF is my initials so that might explain the lack of creativity on my part in choosing a team name. LOL

Anyone else facing antler restrictions in your state? The county to the west of us has a 4 pt. per antler restriction. Maybe next year it will rotate and the county I hunt in will be restricted?

We don't have any restrictions in Nebraska, but then we don't have as much hunting pressure and luckily our bucks are usually 6 pointers their first year. I love hunting in Nebraska much more than I did in central PA where a six point buck was a big thing.

Also, I'm good with just keeping us Team 5 as well. Sometimes the best things come in plain wrappers. We'll let our bows do the talking, not some fancy name like those team 4 losers.

I was thinking of the name "Ten Men and a Truck" (though not very seriously ) because all ten of us are going to shoot huge bucks that will take a truck to drag out!

Whatever you guys want to call us is fine with me.
