Archery deer contest sign up w/ rul...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rules....

1 deer must be taken legally and ethically as laws apply in your state
2 archery equiptment may be used in the harvest only
3 no doe will be accepted into the contest
4 we will use the P&Y scoring system on deer to be entered ... measure the rack as soon as you can get to it no need to let dry..
5 4 members per team that will be drawn at random
6 deadline to sign up is AUGUST 20th by 11:59 any entries at 12:00 will not be counted
7 must have a picture posted of your kill to prove that you have actually taken and animal.. if you dont have a scanner or digital camera im sure someone that you know does , jsut get the pic on here as soon as u can after the news of your harvest...
8 4 entries per team at the end of the contest the total will be the TEAM score ex( 120+140+100+160=520 total inches for the team)
9 you may enter your FIRST bow kill buck of the season , there are alot of gusy on here that only get to take one buck per arcehry season due to work and laws in their state , that way it is fair to EVERYONE , because obviously everyone can take one deer
10 no hunting preserve deer or pay hunt deer will beaccepted , private land that you have gained access to is OK ....

You were wondering about the bucks in Wyo and ND. I don't know about Wyo but for ND ... the bucks that belong to these sheds from last spring have only gotten bigger!! Oh and all are in my hunting area!!

You will have to exclude the skull/rack. He is still pretty much dead the last time I checked. What a waste!! Pretty good buck for the area. [:@]

Pictured is my son. I am not a 13 year old rookie. Old washed up rookie of 41 would be more fitting and not picture friendly. Shoot a Buckmaster 2000s. Opening day here is Sept 3rd. Stands are in place and big bucks scouted.

Goodluck to everyone!!

Hi all! Sorry I haven't checked in until now. As you have seen, I live in Nebraska, on the eastern border along the Missiouri River in a small town called Plattsmouth. It is 30 minutes south of Omaha, where the Platte River Runs into the Missouri River. My name is Brad and I'm 38 years old. Been bow hunting seriously for two years now and have bagged three bucks, each one being bigger than the previous one. Let's hope that trend continues :-)

I shot a nice 9 point last year that I'll post a picture of when I get back into the office. I promised my wife that I would not shoot a deer smaller than him this year. I saw at least two bucks larger than him last year, but never got a shot at one. I'm pretty sure they both made it through the season. Not sure if they made it through the summer or not, as I haven't seen them since February. Both should be between 120 and 140, I would guess.

I shoot a Parker Super Mag at 65# and use 100 grain Thunderheads. I wear ASAT camo and got both my bucks with it on last year, after receiving it with just 10 days left in the season. After putting it on, I seemed to get more bucks closer to me in a couple of days than I did the whole rest of the season. Of course, the rut probably had a hand in that as well ;-)

My e-mail is [email protected]

Feel free to e-mail me at anytime.
