DS, I am planning to have mine officially scored. On B&C and P&Y websites they list official scorers - just find one by you. Or practice scoring some of your past years racks/sheds.

I'm not sure how the red light will show up on film but it should not bother the animals at all - most animals can't see into the red frequencies of light. Its definately worth a try - let us know how it works.

ILL BUCK.... nice to see another young face on the team .... that is an absolute monster buck , if i even saw a deer liek that , i would shake too bad to draw let alone shoot.... Next season im def gonna have to hookup with one of you ill guys and hunt some whitetail , ill swap a hunt here in PA , but i dunnno you would want to come hunt DINKS to u guys lol

The red light idea should work , either that or jsut setup a motion light , when mine goes off here at the house , they jsut stand there and look at it , they dont run or nething!

There is 2 buck out the farm that we hunt that are def shooters , one is a 12 point , main 10 with stickers , that is about 18 inches wide , and about 10 inch tines ...... then the other is a 20 inch or so 9 point with a sticker , but about 6 inch tines..... and they have seen some other basket bucks .... but i have been in a stand out there in the rut and seen a few pigs that noone has even found a trace of b4......

as far as scoring , the aministrator from HUNTING NET is gonna post a link to the P&Y scoreing sheetfor us to print out , when he getgs it up he said he will put it in the new post he has up ... all you do is print it out , and measure on the rack where it says ... its gross score so no deductions

Hey button buck, I am in central Illinois. Chatsworth is the town, about 100 straight south of chicago will put you in my front yard!! If you follow US Route 24 that goes through the state east and west you will run right into me!!

Deerstalker...if you need one scored we can arrange to meet up somewhere...that is if you aren't 300 miles away!!:D

Now for the external light on a deer cam...I have no idea!! Sorry

awesome Doublelung55

i cant wait to just try a motion sensor with a spot light... :D 2,000,000 candle power! give them deer a sun burn!

and HEY im a young hunter! im only 26! but i have been hunting since i was 13, and bow hunting since 16, and i went OUT with my father and grand father from age 8 up to 12 with out a gun.. just to tag along and scare deer! ;)

IL-BOW-MAN its Daystalker, and YEAH i think we are only like 136.5 miles away :D but i think we need to get some of us Illinois boys together just to maybe have a few laughs before we get serious about hunting, and this compitition.

anyway yeah i have been trying to step up the old physical theropy to get the ol shoulder back into shape. i was cleared tw months ago to shoot my bow. now i have to revise my form. its hard to pull that 70 back like i used to. but dont worry i WILL be ready by the time the season gets here.

I'm in Champaign area, right off of I-57. I'm game for a get together, even if its just walking property or having lunch somewhere.

oh man hazcon, you are prolly about an hour away!! I can hit champaign on the back roads in about 65 minutes!!

Hey daystalker, work that shoulder good. When my dad had his shoulder surgery he gave up on the therapy too early and now he can hardly pull his bow back and the dr actually signed his paper for a crossbow. He just bought one and I am going down there tonight to help set it up. Keep on working it even after you think it is healed!!

O.K now all you Ill boys are gettin together without me--lol.How long of a drive is it from my front door[:o]
Keep me posted on what we had for lunch, how many beers we drank, where we walked to---etc------lol;)
Give the red light a try, cant hurt right.

Last night I went out shooting my bow with my buddy. On the way home we decided to swing by one of my areas to check out some fields, and wow,we seen 2 bucks that were huge, not sure on the score though because i had no binoculars and it was getting dark fast.I will say that the one was bigger then the one i got last year and it was a 13 point that grossed around 160.Hopefully they are still around my area come hunting season:)
