I alomost feel sorry for the other teams.

How is this season looking for everybody? I'm on public property but so far my spots are really looking good with activity. Here are pics over the last few weeks. I know there are bigger ones in the area.

OK here it is fellas.. i have count em THREE private properties that i hunt... ONE in which the guy wants as many deer OUT of there as i can manage.. and thats saying im going to try my hand at GOOD herd management.

i hunt in northwest illinois. if any of you illinois guys live any where NEAR Crystal lake let me know. OR if you ahve a Archery tag for illinois then you guys are MORE than Welcome to use one of my stands.

Well, as you guys know, I am the PA boy in the team! I will be hunting private property in SW PA that is managed by my best friend and I. We have been seeing more big bucks this year than ever before. I have seen over a dozen bucks that will go close to or over P&Y with the biggest probablly pushing the 160" range!

Don't worry guys, I am gonna keep scouting and with a little luck, I may be able to add a big'un!:D

Rack.... the sad thing is , i didnt peek or im sure i woulda put all ill guys and stuff with me .... I dont know anyone on here other then olmossyhorns... so it would be a tad hard to cheat even if that was a question on the team picking for all i know i coulda put a 12 yearold on my team that hasent shot a bow in his life....

But i do agree this team is pretty good ....

looks like me and buck magnet will have to pick up the slack tho from PA!!!!

I'm in west chicago about 35miles from crystal lake so if you need help with population control let me know. I have several people that want some venison. 35miles is nothing I drive 70 one way right now.

Sorry rack for not being from sask but ontario here.Not to worry though because we have some big "MONSTERS" running around here this year and i feel real lucky.
I do feel good about the team though,as everyone should about there own.

When is everyone's season opener?? Also, if we get in a crunch, I might have to open the honey hole up for the team. Kentucky sales over the counter out of state non-resident tags. We've got less than two weeks to opener. Hung my last stand tonight, after I had a little rest....:)

I think we have a great team and we should name it something like the league of extraordinary men?
or maybe the ultimates? or how about the THE 10.. or maybe the chosen few? Dukes of Illinois :D?
or possibly WOLF PACK. what equipment does everyone shoot? i dont think we shoudl have a group name like mathews or anything like that. i think thats kkinda dumb

all i know is that there will be nothing but asumptions and people jumping to conclusions for this thing.. especially since the teams worked out this way. we have to be especially honest. if we illinois guys get a chance to take two bucks we shoudl count the first one we get.

also did anyone want to swap #'s for the illinois group or hell even the PA boys are welcome to swing by!

our opener is October 1st. i will be out ther bright and early. we should be good, i have a friend hunting with me that is not on a team or signed up so i told him that if he gets a shot at a BIG one make sure i get first dibs! ;) YEAH right.. lats year i dragged a 14pt 178" dandy out of there... hope there is another dandy moved in for this year.. i can not post up a camer on that property as its a friends HOMESTEAD. and i hunt on the 10 acres he has on the south end of his property.

also what honey hole? i think between the 10 of us we will be FINE!

I live in the downtown area/historical area, at rt.59 and washington st. about 5minutes south east of diamonds. I'd be glad to take a doe or two for you, I guess I could even take a buck but only if you force me too.:D:D

Now that is just plain uncalled for!!:D There is nothing wrong with Team Mathews!!

I was out scoping out my property last night and hung a camera again. I have 1 picture of a buck that might go close to 120's that was less than 20 yards to my stand.

I have found a new place for a stand that will make a good place as long as the corn is still there come season, so lets hope the farmers are behind!!

I still don't like the rule on the first buck, so forgive me if I shoot an 80 incher early in the season. 2 years with no venison will do strange things to a guy!!:)

As for as the team name, don't really matter to me. Team KCISON is good enough for me...he did shoot the largest deer last year!!

Team ILPAKY-eh - IL for the illinois boys, PA for buckmagnet, KY for kcison and the eh would be for the canandian accecnt up north:D

Don't mind me, it is still early!!

I kind of like being in the situation I am in. You guys got all the pressure. You guys are expected to win so if you don't everybody is going to be let down and wondering why. The name of the team doesn't matter to me as the only name people are going to remember us by is "The Winners" :D

Well, a little more info. I will be shooting a BowTech Liberty, using ASAT camo! I have seen one buck this year that has caught my eye, here is his pic.....



I have been seeing tons of bucks in the 120-130" range! I will more than likely hunt a freshly planted food plot that my friend and I put on his uncles farm which we have been managing for the past 6 years! We have seen some absolute giants out there this year and I am hoping to get some pics of these bad boys!

P.S. Hey Rack, have you seen any biggun's yet?
