He says it's harder to get through the woods with one on your back. You get stuck between things and get it all tangled up. He even hit me with it when we were walking though the woods yesterday. Does anyone else have this trouble?

Nope, I hunt alone. Seriously, make the sling longer and put the sling over one shoulder and the opposite hip. Centers it more in the middle of the back. And learn to go sideways if obstructions get tight.Or, carry it by your side with the bow oriented vertically.

I dont use a sling.
I put the buttstock in my arm pit and hold the rail with the limbs paralel to my body and i slip through the woods slicker than a gravy sandwich
Every weapon has it advantages and disadvantages, you learn your way aound them.
