They say "If you want to kill a Trophy Bull you have to go to Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado or Pennsylvania"

So.... The Number 7 in the world was taken last year.

Elk county pennsylvania has 200-250 elk. Its not a big herd but the elk are amazing.

There was an unbelievable 9X7 , 400+" bull hanging out about 1 mile from our camp a couple years ago in Clinton Co.
You should have seen THAT thing up close. [:-]

I have never put in for a tag either myself........why I'm not sure but my buddy Frank has put in every year since it started and is bitter EVERY year about not getting drawn. LOL

KY supposedly has the best elk herd east of the Mississippi. Virgin Land and the best imported genetics from capture sights out west equals a mighty fine start to an excellent herd reintroduction...

Like Frank, I am bitter every year my name doesnt come up.

I heard a rumor from a couple game commission officers they wanna bring elk to a few more counties in PA....I heard carbon/monroe/pike were possibilities.
See what happens.
