Shooting 3 on a regular basis and making strings, arrows and targets for same, keeps me busy. Have each one sighted for a particular 'head: 3 proven-for-flight arrows stay in their own quivers. Cyclone, 125 Slick mag. Vortex, 100 Slick mag. Phoenix 100 NAP Spitfire. All of the 'heads are on weighted Gold Tip Lazers II's with 2" Blazer.
And I've got 3 rifles sighted with handloads: 7/08 Rem, 284 Win. and 280 Rem., as well as half dozen single shot "handcannons." Oh, almost forgot, the TC Pro Hunter ML zerod to the same point of impact with 250 and 290 grn bullets. I'm READY.
Like as not most of my hunting will be done with a CB, though. But a man can't live with just one 'tool of the trade.'
'Sides, they're not likely gonna let me play with all that stuff once I'm in the "home."

went out on bench with string with badly worn serving, FFF and shot at10 yds. shot 8" high! moved elevation down full turn and shot. was 6" high so turned down another full turn. shot 3rd time and its 4" high. moved bag out to 20 yds. and shot its about 1 1/2" high. left it there, as my neck started burning fron the surgery i had on it friday morning. will try tomorrow

Shot several different weight arrows for groups with the Vortex today. All were close but not super tight. The Lazer II's with brass inserts and Blazers proved to be the best. Unfortunately two of them decided to occupy the same spot. NO MORE SHOOTING FOR GROUPS! Aslde from rouning one arrow, the tip of the other was stuck in the nock so hard that I couldn't get it out with pliers!

with my scope set on 2x its varible 1.5x6. i shot off the bench at 25 yds. dead on my qtr. sized blk. dot. then after 3/4 shots my arrow went thru the bag and out the other side. tore a vane loose. was starting to sprinkle, so i put up sand bags. miss vixen be thumping!
going to take 2 ratchet straps and put the squeeze on my bag target. done shot out the backside, always sumpin![

i went out with miss phoenix this morning shot half dz. times at 20 yds. put bag target out to marked 50 yds. i shot 10 times and had a 5" group using my Lumizone. thats not bad for not wearing glasses & using just the scope. if i put my reading glasses on i can see the triangle's better.
if i don't well the 5" group is fantasic.
