I just purchased a new Phoenix Excal and would like to hear from anyone who has used it or similiar crossbows in blinds. Looking at also purchasing a Grizzly G-10 blind or maybe a Ameristep Doghouse type for turkey and deer. I realize that there are much bigger and better blinds but really looking at holding down the price. Will this type of recurve crossbow work ok in these blinds? Any help on this issue will be welcome. Thank You Joe.

2 dog houses, 2 excals [limbs same width on all models] 0 problems. that limb difference thing is much bigger on the net than actually when going hunting, much ado about very little difference unless you get into some high buck compounds.

The G-10 blind is too small for comfortable crossbow use. The G-20 (doghouse size) works great.
Cabela's has a Trekker T-200 which is even larger on sale for less than the G-20.
