Impressed with my little bow
Went to the hunting grounds today. Cleaned up my tree stand, cut some new growth branches away (held up real well since the season and nobody stole it) , set up the blind nearby and brushed it in. This will be my first year with X bow.
I shot the Horton 150 from the stand (20' up and 20 yards out) at a block target. Grouped 3 right in the eye.
I sat the target at 30 yards (taped) from the blind and put one in the eye and one 1 1/2" high and left....its tuff shooting kneeling on your knees.
I was impressed with the penetration at 30 yards....1/2 of the 20" shaft buried.

Sounds good! I took all my stuff out to my inlaws today to put on my Tekan II's and try them out. Started to rain and never got to do any of it! I am glad you where able to shoot out of the tree! Most people never take the effort to do so.
